'It was very easy and with very little pain''

Teeth Cleaning

I had bleeding gums. They did me a teeth cleaning which was completely effective and all bleeding has disappeared. They detected 3 cavities and treated them another day. It was very easy and with very little pain, as Dr Demajo is incredibly nice and kind. She also speaks Spanish (I'm Spanish), so she could tell me everything in Spanish in order to understand everything. I really recommend it. Thank you!

I started my implant procedure at this clinic. They did the check-up and scan to determine where the implant should go, then they extracted my tooth. I had various treatments done including teeth cleaning, extractions, dental orthopantomogram, fillings, cone beam computed tomography, implants, root canal and gingivectomy. It was all worth the money spent because a healthy mouth is priceless and my smile is the prettiest thing I can wear!

I chose this clinic since I wanted 'an all-in-one place' solution to my various dental needs. They also have about three generations of knowledge in dentistry which makes me feel extremely reassured. Dr. Jean Paul Demajo is a star, his staff are all extremely polite and the ambiance is quite calming. A typical visit to the dentist is usually hardly enjoyable but not here! They always manage to turn my frown into a smile.

I am having implant treatment. I am half way, the tooth is out and the screw was attached to the bone. It needs 3 to 4 months to heal properly so we can attach the tooth. In fact, it was actually a fifth less than I would have paid at a London clinic. They gave me the price at my appointment, but I think they matched what I saw online. The staff were really friendly. It was a nice place to be, which was great considering I’m usually terrified of dentists. The clinic was spotless, and everything went well.

I am 73 years old and time has taken its toll on my teeth. I have had a partial upper denture for several years with a consequent loss of taste. The final straw was when I had a tooth removed from lower jaw which would have necessitated a lower denture. I visited the clinic whilst on holiday last year and was impressed with Dr Jean-Paul's professional and approachable manner. In total, I needed eight implants and a tooth to be crowned - no small matter. The initial treatment was performed sympathetically and the care taken by Dr Jean-Paul and his assistant could not be faulted. On my return to the UK any query was dealt with swiftly. I have recently had the actual teeth fitted, another tooth crowned and I could not be more delighted. Although the motive was not cosmetic the outcome is visually pleasing. More importantly, I can now appreciate the taste and texture of food again. Extraction of a tooth and immediate placement of the implant with simultaneous bone grafting followed by the construction and placement of an all-ceramic implant crown constructed in onsite laboratory 4 months post-implant insertion. Dr. Jean Paul Demajo is a true professional. Within minutes of entering the clinic and meeting him and his team. I knew I could trust them with getting an excellent service. The clinic is pleasantly designed and it is impeccably clean (this is of extreme importance for me). Throughout the process of my treatment, Dr. Jean Paul made me feel comfortable, he is very docile with his patients and staff members. He thoroughly explained what procedure was needed and why. His work was fantastic, the intervention for the implant was painless and my crown feels and looks very natural! I can smile, and I can eat everything again

I went to Dr. Jean Paul Demajo for a consultation. I’d had gum disease a few years ago and lost a few teeth and others had been filled more than once, not a pretty sight. He examined me, took X-rays and arranged a full cleaning session. In June I had a session of nearly 4 hours whilst he injected my gums, inserted 9 implant bases, removed four teeth and sent me home in a taxi. I spent three months eating risotto, fish or anything else soft, as I couldn’t cope with the dentures he had made for me. Then more sessions for measurements, exposing the implants, making the moulds for the new teeth, and finally, 9 new teeth were inserted, some singles and some fixed together. Immediately, one side of my mouth felt quite natural and the other side felt enormous, but in a few days, that sensation disappeared. I can smile, and I can eat everything again. Expensive but well worth it - it took six months in total, but I hope they will last a lifetime. Jean Paul Demajo was recommended by a friend as a good implant surgeon, and I decided to have my implant surgery done in Malta where I have been working, rather than to have to fly home to the UK. The surgery is technologically completely up to date, with excellent staff and big enough to house all the necessary expertise under one roof. The Clinic is efficient, the staff are well trained, polite, and speak many languages.

"I visited Dr.Demajo's clinic for the first time feeling ashamed to open my mouth and left after a year and a half feeling the exact opposite. Treatment was very intense, their was a lot to be done to get great looking teeth- had to get braces and a tooth implant. In addition Drs.Demajo's as well as the nursing staff very friendly and helpful especially a nurse called Ruby always ready to assist and smiling making me feel very comfortable in not the nicest of scenarios. "I came to see Dr jean Paul after being recommended by a friend to start working on replacing my current implant which I had since the 10 years and needed updating and I had problems with size looks and shape and big colour difference so we started on the Conversion of metal-ceramic implant crowns to all-ceramic implant crowns which completely change the look and the feel of my jaw which I struggled with to lock for years because of poor shaping in my old teeth but finally I feel much better with confidence even when I am not smiling. "I shopped around for quite a while being both price sensitive in my criteria as well as the expected quality of the end results. Drs Demajo Dental and Implantology Clinics offered me a free consultation and showed me around his clinic and lab together with a few of his end results of previous clients. His work was really professional and unbelievable. Clearly this was my choice. I was impressed with the standards this clinic keeps up to.. The lab is simply a state of art.. The fact that they also kept in mind to have a recovery room, made me realise how much they keep the client's satisfaction as the centre of all their business.

I had a delayed implant placement, with a provisional fixed implant crown to obtain the correct gingival architecture and finally an all/ceramic implant crown manufactured in onsite laboratory.

Safe amalgam removal/onlays

"I have been on my way for many years to go to a good dentist to remove all of my amalgam fillings. My mouth resembled the bad guys in 007 movies as there was so much silver/amalgam in my mouth with 12 teeth covered with amalgam fillings.

When I saw the safe amalgam removal video from Drs. Demajo Dental office and photos from their dental office with all the latest technology I decided that now it was time to have all my amalgam removed.

I ended up by having 9 amalgam fillings replaced with plastic fillings and on top of that I had 4 onlays/inlays fabricated in their onsite lab which replaced my teeth (not the roots though)

All of this was done in three days and now I can finally smile with my white teeth which makes so much difference and I don´t have to worry about whether amalgam is poisoning my body anymore.

Dr. Jean Paul Demajo was very professional and welcoming and so was Maria who did the onlays. Their site has got all the latest technology and is well located within Malta.

"I am celebrating the most rewarding three for one bargain package of the year.

1.) I recovered my perfect smile after I had given up all hope for my age worn teeth with a full mouth restoration of new implants and ceramic crowns.

2.) Dr Jean-Paul provided a lovely self-catering apartment at no charge above the ultra-modern surgery and laboratory with views looking out over the beautiful Sliema Marina for 10 days.

3.) The practice taxi had been sent to meet me at the airport and take me back.

All that in beautiful Malta. Dr Jean- Paul is an artiste with his skill at conservation/restoration of compromised teeth.

I am delighted with what he has done for me - I can thoroughly recommend him."

"I have been under the care of Dr Jean Paul Demajo for over six months and I am totally satisfied with the service and outcome. I had metal-porcelain bridges which fit uncomfortably and were also painful. Dr Jean Paul replaced the broken metal porcelain bridges and crowns with all ceramic zirconia crowns. He also placed six implants and after four months he then placed a further eight zirconia crowns (all fabricated in on-site lab).

I highly recommend the services of Dr Jean Paul, he is very competent and I was offered a very professional service. I am now very pleased with the natural look and the excellent work he has done.

"I went to the clinic as I had dark front upper teeth, which were the result of a robbery some years ago. As bleaching didn't really do the job and as I wanted white teeth, I asked a couple of clinics for a solution and when I talked to Dr. Jean Paul I decided to start my treatment at the De Majo Clinic.

My aim was to get white teeth for my upper front part (to start with). I just wanted them white and some small adjustments (fixing cracks). What I got firstly was then 3 crowns and 4 veneers in a very nice white, but the shape of my teeth and my front had changed. Biting and chewing was hard, my bite had changed and I was very unhappy. I talked to Dr. Jean Paul and he said I shouldn't be worried and that he is going to change them again. As I was on vacation and then Dr. Jean Paul was, I had the time to try to get use to the new teeth which I couldn't.

I got my teeth redone yesterday and I am really, really happy now. I got my old bite back, my previous look and I enjoyed my dinner last night for the first time since 2 or 3 weeks and my teeth are white :-) I would like to thank the whole team which were always very friendly and they take responsibility even after the treatment. I would go there again and recommend the clinic, even though I wasn't happy with the first treatment, but I know I was in very capable hands and we just were lost in translation at the first time, I guess."

"I have had Implants with simultaneous sinus lift bone grafting on the full Upper and partial lower jaw. I also had my teeth crowned on the bottom. I have to say I was very happy through the whole process from the bone graft and implants done.

The extremely professional levels of work and services, that I could not find in most places, I cannot recommend highly enough. The implants were all-ceramic teeth that were fabricated in the premises with their on -site laboratory. On top of this, I was offered onsite accommodation which was extremely helpful during the recovery. i.e. above the clinic, so never an issue with any follow up.

I am very very pleased with the outcome and would recommend that anyone looking to have implants done or any dental work consider this Dental Practice as one of the best in Europe. Pricing was better than I could get with the knowledge that there are 3 generations of trained professionals all trained and qualified over seas.

The staff and assistants were very good in their roles and always made me feel comfortable. (Knowing I was terrified!!!). All up fantastic result."

"I am very pleased with the result and in such a short time. Treatment was for 3 standard sized implants, Immediate bone graft sinus/lift, 5 fixed porcelain crowns. Duration 6- 8 months.

Previous to my visit to Drs.Demajo Clinic I spent nearly three years going through all sort of ordeals by two separate dentists. I started with having a bridge done that failed, with four side teeth being pulled out leaving bits of teeth material in the gums. Another bridge couldn't be done so went for implants by another specialised dentist, so I read, that failed twice leaving me with irritated gums, a trauma, a lot of pain and failed implants. Not only I didn’t have my side teeth well replaced but ended up with dangling and distorted crowns

I decided that enough was enough. I was tired, terrified, exhausted and couldn't trust dentists any more. In spite of all that, I started to search again on the internet and came to a familiar name at home, whom my husband holds very high. Drs. Demajo Dental Clinic. My husband urged me to give it a try, at least a visit. I should, I said to myself. After all, my husband never complained and was always happy with the work and so I did go. And today just over seven months from my first appointment I have once again a beautiful smile with perfect teeth just like I had them in my good old days. Thank you heartily Dr. Jean Paul Demajo. My husband was right ! Dr. Demajo is intelligent, efficient, competent and ultra professional specialised Dentist. I recommend him to anybody. He is worth it and the staff is wonderful.

"I am very pleased with the treatment & professional service I was given by Dr. Jean Paul Demajo & his team. I had 6 implants inserted using a surgical guide with no ocidions or suturing also avoiding bone grafts. 14 fixed porcelain teeth were fixed to the implants.

At first I was very nervous & scared but with Dr Jean Paul's encouragement & assurance I felt more at ease. The procedure felt uncomfortable but was not very painful. Soreness only lasted for a day.

Many thanks to Dr. Jean Paul & his team for making, what seemed to me an ordeal, a smooth procedure."

"The treatment I received was excellent and I would like to thank Jean Paul for his professionalism and care throughout the process. After two years of orthodontic work I was anxious about going overseas, but my worries were completely unfounded. Jean Paul's staff were all friendly and efficient.

When the veneers were finally completed, everyone came in to have a look at the work done, including JP's father. A real family affair and superb teeth. My UK orthodontist was impressed with the work and the colour match is great.

"Before travelling to Malta for the winter from the UK, I had root-canal treatment.

Shortly after arriving,the filling dropped out as the tooth had split and I had to seek treatment.

The response to my inquiry at Drs. Demajo was helpful and very quick.

I would like to thank Jean-Paul very much for the work he did on my tooth on Thursday. Everything was fine with no pain at all, and the cost was excellent. I would not hesitate to use the Clinic again if I have a problem.

Please use my name in any recommendations you want to as it can be quite daunting for someone coming from another country to seek treatment. I was made to feel quite at home.

I have recently had a tooth implant at Demajo Dental Clinic. Was very anxious walking into the clinic on my first appointment to commence this complex procedure, but putting aside the discomfort of having any kind of work done in the mouth, this went extremely smooth and final result very satisfying. The clinic is well equipped, staff professional and the attention given for the patient's comfort during and post operation is undoubtedly much appreciated. The final cost was exactly as initially quoted, and would definitely be returning in future for any necessary dental work.

I had implants of 6 teeth on the upper jaw. The bone had to be reconstructed. I had been informed verbally and through reading prior to the commencement of the operation and everything went as expected. The price was what I was quoted with and besides I had problems with wobbly teeth on the lower jaw and these were steadied temporarily at no additional cost. I wish to add that the treatment I got was not only excellent as far as professional services are concerned, but the way in which these were rendered allayed some fears in an experience that seemed to be quite daunting in the beginning. A job well done in all respects!
